Soil Biology Analysis

In the past, agricultural practices have failed to promote healthy populations of microorganisms, limiting production yields and threatening sustainability. In addition to fertility, soil microorganisms also play essential roles in the nutrient cycles that are fundamentally important to life on the planet. Fertile soils teem with microorganisms, which directly contribute to the biological fertility of that soil. Soil biology is essential for a healthy soil and ultimately for healthy growth of all plants. Over the period of excess use of chemical fertilizers and other chemicals resulted hardly any soil life, which can cause a lack of plant growth. But sometimes the factors leading to decreased vitality or diminishing growth are not so clear. Hence, soil analyses can provide insight.

Terralife performs in-house analyses using microscopic and some innovative techniques to analyse soil life. Terralife can measure the amount of essential soil bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes.
